Nice pack, but poorly designed sternum strap
This is a very nice pack for overnight trips. But I don't understand North Face's sliding sternum strap system. On my pack it lost friction after just a couple uses and always rides up to my neck. I have to hold it down with safety pins. Otherwise I like the sizing, load bearing properties and comfort of this pack.

Most Comfortable Pack
I've had this for a little over a year and have used on several long day hikes in the Sierras (15-25 miles) in both winter (with snowshoes) and summer. I'm an older hiker (55 yrs) and this is the most comfortable day pack I've ever used, and the first that I've had specifically made for a woman. It sits very nicely on on my back, and I can lean forward or bend down easily with it on.The only negative is it's weight (one ounce shy of 3 lbs). I like the fact that it does hold water bottles and a bladder, so you choose what's best for a given day. The large main compartment also allows for maximum flexibility in packing. It could easily be used for overnight/weekend trips if you travel light. This is a great pack!

Great product and value for money
I bought the 40 lt pack and am very happy with it. I hiked the Inca trail in Peru with it and it was really comfortable and useful.

The pack is very durable and just what I needed for a short camping trip.
