Great Pants
I purchased these because I needed something to go to work in comfortably. These are great for all day usage and I even sometimes wear them around the house.

good buy!
When I bought these pants I was looking for a light weight, waterproof pant that packs small, and that's exactly what I got. I bought the pants just in time for a month long trekking trip in the Himalayas, and at lower elevation, afternoon thunderstorms happened every day. The pants work great alone, and are also roomy enough to fit over my regular hiking pants. The only thing that could improve them is a strap that goes under your boot to keep them pulled down over your boot. This would keep water from running from the pant into your boots. I'm thinking of adding a strap like this myself. Good product for the price!

Venture pants
These pants are amazingly light-weight. I like that they come in a 30" inseam. Hopefully the weight isn't too much of a trade-off for durability. These will be perfect for backpacking in spring and summer. The elastic around the ankles is nice while riding a bicycle in the rain. The only things I don't like is how the elastic waist band puffs up the material in the front and sides and the lack of a fly. I like these better than my Freedom pants because they are much lighter and more suited for hiking through thick brush and riding a bike in the rain.

Great rain paints!
I'm a little over 6 ft and 200lbs - these North Face pants fit great. One thing I like is that the length is where I can leave the leg straight and let the rain run down hardly touching my shoe. I can also use the hook'n loop strap to pull the leg tight around my ankle therefore avoiding catching the pant leg as I walk. They fit fine over my walking shorts and kept me dry - both from the rain and the normal body moisture which was wicked away. They fold/roll small enough to fit in my pack and don't even notice the weight.

good rain pants
there comfortable and will stop the rain. Also they have a velcro strap at bottom which makes it nice to adjust and put over shoes
