Releasing your winter aspirations to the ULLR snow god, The North Face Men's Freedom Pants take you to the realm of Vahalla. These free-fitting, high-performance pants are designed in waterproof breathable HyVent 2-layer fabric that is fully seam taped for awesome weather protection, and lined with Thermoliner II for exceptional warmth. Hitting the mountain knowing your lower half is amply protected from the cold, wintry elements, these snow pants also hook up to a TNF jacket with its pant-a-lock system for a one piece snow barrier. For customizing the fit and comfort, adjustable waist tabs dial it in, exterior thigh vents with mesh gussets let off steam along with its StretchVent gaiter Chimney Venting system. Reinforced at the cuff against scuffs and edge bites, this ski / snowboard pant is tough and durable season after season, and sports handwarmer zip pockets and cargo pockets that are always a good place for gold mining last year's Halloween candy. Whether your two planking a corduroy carve of one planking the rails and trails, the TNF Men's Freedom Pants allows you to go for the gusto on the gnarliest days without restricting your go big movement.

Price right / Fit right / Work right
Finally a pant that fits me right, I bought the Med Short as I'm only 5'8" and most pants are just to long but these fit perfect. Not some baggy jibber kid pant, not tight either but just a perfect fit to allow layering and/or movement. Love the Asphalt color too as it's not the norm and if it's as waterproof and durable as the HyVent jacket I've had for past two seasons I'm golden. One gripe is that it could be more vented, but hey for the price I can deal.
The Northface Freedom Gore-Tex pants
These pants are a great deal. I just bought my second pair, first pair stayed completely h2o proof for 6 ski seasons of avg. 30 days per year. Just throw a pair of longjohns under on extreme cold days to stay warm. Roomy & tough.
Great Ski Pants
These pants are great on the slopes. I was worried about warmth, as these pants are not insulated. But I have had no problems down to -20 with stiff winds. These fit very baggy compared to other ski pants, but I like that style for range of motion. I am a 36 inseam, and I bought the longs, fit was perfect. Great pants for a good price. Would definitely buy again.
Another great product by northface!
I've used these pants five times while snowboarding in WV. No sign of wear and tear yet. The quality is unmatched. The waistband is nice and soft on the inside, and you can even adjust the size with velcro straps on the side. Fits a little baggy but thats the style these days. The bottom holds up really well, high quality materials that you'd expect from northface. Completely waterproof, windproof. Kept me warm in 8-10 Degree weather with 20-30 knot winds. Big pockets and the vents do help quite a bit when inside . All my friends were jealous. Get a pair now before the season is over!
perfect length
Very satisfied. The LONG length was surprisingly perfect for me standing at 6'6", normally wearing pants/jeans in size 33W x 36.5L. I was worried that the LARGE size might be too big in the waist, but it was not. I used these pants for 3 days of skiing in Idaho with temps in the teens and was never cold. Comparable to a loose fitting boot cut jean. Cannot comment on waterproofing as it was sunny every day.
