Just what I'd hoped for
I wear a size 9, but bought size 10 intentionally to assure a loose fit. I wanted warm cozy outdoor boots that feel like slippers and that's what I got. I put in a thick pair if insoles to add insulation and padding (which was planned and part of the reason I bought a size too big). I've only worn them once so far (4 hours before skiing and 4 hours after skiing) but plan to wear them for all future ski trips. My feet were very comfortable and toasty warm when others with me were complaining about cold feet. I can't yet comment on durability or water protection as I haven't tested that, but the warmth, comfort, convenience of slip-on boots, and non-slip sole are everything I could ask for. The "women specific fit" in the product description is misleading and probably an error. These are men's boots (I almost didn't buy them because of the description) and are great for after skiing if you want your feet to be warm and comfortable. There isn't any significant support built into these boots, so they would not be appropriate for long hikes on rough terrain, but I think they'd be great for wandering around in a winter campsite, too, and I will be trying them for that application soon as well.
Buy and enjoy . . .
Recommended use: Definitely around the house on cold winter mornings, afternoons, and night. Light trips outside, like for fire wood etc., could possibly wear to the store for a quick trip. Appear to be semi-waterproof against snow, once again quick trip outside. Definitely packable for those winter visits to friends and family. Would not consider using them for long range hiking or for working. These boots are for leisure. Comfort and Construction: I usually wear 10.5 boot, but ordered 11's. Perfect fit with a 3rd party insert, and heavy wool socks. Wide base great stability. Appears to be good construction only time will tell . . . I would definitely recommend.
Not quite what I need
I was looking for an after ski boot I could slip into with one hand.It met all my needs except for that.I am a 10.5 and ordered a 11.It fit well but again needed two hands to put it on. With the angle of the boot I feel a 12 would have the same problem. I take off my ski boots in a parking lot and sliding into a boot with one hand is the only way to go. If it had a heel pull tab it might have worked.
