Solid durable pants
These North Face pants are rugged, well made, flexible, and should be durable well into the future. The fit is close to perfect. The gusseted crotch is a plus. My only slight negative is that they remain a tad stiff after three washings. I would expect the pants to become even more comfortable with continued use.

only pants he'll wear now
My husband now has 3 pairs of these and literally wants me to toss all his other pants & just buy these. They're good looking, rugged & the most comfortable pants he's ever had.

Great climbing pants
They really made a great pair of rock climbing (and just casual wear) Pants here. Great fit, not too skinny legged like some climbing pants, they are a pair I wear for days on end. The crotch gusset and stretch canvas material allow easy highsteps and no problems with binding when I climb. Great weight, not too light not too heavy, very durable. Only quibble is the zipper they used on the back pocket of my pair, its metal and a bit harsh when going in for my wallet. No biggie though.

look good in the office or on the trail
I own several pair of the North Face Cliff Rock Crag pants and find them to be the most comfortable pants I own. The gussetted crotch and slight stretch to the material give you a great fit while allowing plenty of room to move. The neat styling of the pockets allows me to wear them to the office and they're obviously rugged enough for the trail....heck, they're North Face !
