Made from durable, phthalate-free TPE laminate fabric, The North Face Jholo Duffel Bag is a bomber of a duffel bag. Amply resilient for turbulent handling in-flight or rough transport up a mountain via a yak, this is one burly bag. Alpine-cut shoulder straps foster easy backpack-style carry, and a colorful Khumbu Climbing School screen-print design at end adds authentic mountain heritage to this expedition-worthy bag.

Bomber
This is THE classic bomber expedition duffel. Definitely not waterproof but very splash and abrasion resistant. The shoulder straps are key for travel--I'm one of those who believe that carry-on's should actually be carried. I like that this version has a phalate-free laminate (I don't need any more exogenous estrogen), supports the Khumbu Climbing School, and has a Nepali flag rather than the huge North Face logo on one end.
Design & quality
When I bought my outdoor gear I always look for two basic things: design and quality. This bag, as all The North Face products, has both. I was looking for a bag for those day trips to the mountain, when you only need to carry some of clothes and food. This bag is perfect for that. It's big enough (small size) to keep inside all the stuff you want, but not too big to carry it in the car, on the bus, riding a bicycle, ... I've discovered that it's perfect as well for those diving days, when I need to keep my towel, my clothes, my food, my emergency kit and other things dry on the boat. For me it's a great bag for its quality, resitant and durable; and for its design, nice and practical.
