Cute Little Fanny Pac
This fanny pac isn't really big, but it is well made and will hold your essentials. I plan to use this while working outside. It will easily carry some cash, keys, chapstick and a hairbrush. The smaller size doesn't interfere with your mobility.
Just right for the bare necessities
Use it to carry Epi-Pens, cell phone, keys, IDs/cards, small hand sanitizer, chapstick. Not too small, not too big. Just right for taking my kid to the playground. I like the unobtrusive shape; it hugs the body. Seems very well made, but haven't had them for very long. Have two now.
it is great
I use it to carry small things that I must have when I run like an epi pen, ipod, and my car keys. I still have plenty of room. It is comfortable.
Great pack but very small
I had a previous North Face pack for many years and I just loved it! I used it all day every day to carry checkbooks, passport, credit cards, cell phone, ear plugs, ear buds, etc. At airport security and at the gym I would add my wallet and keys to it. After long and hard use, the old one was starting to fray on the edges, so I thought it was time for a new one. I could not find any hint of a model name on the old pack, so I looked online and - from the photo- the Granule looked about the same. The pack is well-made and the "hidden" zipper in the back (the part next to your body) is great. There are two little mesh pouches, open at the top, inside the main part, but they are so small that I couldn't think of what to put there. Also my old pack had a cloth handle (loop) (on the top, near the back edge), which was very useful to hang the pack on a hook (in a locker at the gym or in a restroom). The Granule does not have a hook like that. The big problem is that this pack it is about HALF THE SIZE of my old one. I tried this pack for a couple of weeks and it just doesn't hold everything that I need ... or at least not very easily. I say again, this is a great pack but it just won't hold much more than one cell phone and one checkbook and a passport. As I say, I used it for a couple of weeks but I have now returned to my "old" North Face pack and I have ordered the North Face "Roo II" pack which is apparently bigger than the Granule. But if you are just carrying minimum items in the pack, and you want a really small pack, you will probably like this one just fine.
Too small
This lumbar pack is made of a heavy nylon material, which is great for durability but makes it feel heavy and stiff. This product will not hold much more than some keys and maybe a wallet. I was expecting a little more room. Since it is nylon it doesn't stretch at all. My JanSport lumbar pack is much lighter and can hold much more. Also, the strap holders for the waistband are very very flimsy and cheap. I was expecting more from TNF. Overall, this pack is good for carrying keys and change if you were going on a walk, bike ride, etc. but would you really want to carry a waist pack for such little items that could be stored in 1 pant pocket.
