Excellent sleeping bag
I bought this bag knowing this year I would be breaking in and outfitting some new hiking buddies, this seemed like a great choice for a light bag based on a review in Backpacker magazine. I took a friend who had never been backpacking up the west Salmon River near Mount Hood (Oregon) for two nights, it was damp and cold (about 35 deg) both nights. He slept in undies on a flat thermarest (he read the tag saying it was self-inflatable, didn't realize you have to close the valve after it self-inflates. He absolutely raved about the bag - it kept him very warm, even though he was essentially sleeping directly on cold ground. I'm glad I made this purchase - it's an excellent choice due to the warmth and the low weight of just over 2 pounds.
