The Nuptse is Zip-in compatible, which means that you can zip it into other shell garments made by The North Face. This Zip-in feature isn't mandatory in foul weather because the shell is made with waterproof and breathable two-ply HyVent Palisade 4.1 fabric, but you might want to augment the two-ply protection with something a little heavier for snowboarding and icy sliding. The 600+ down fill is high-quality, lightweight insulation designed to keep kids comfortable through a range of temperatures, making the Nuptse ideal for extended ski and snowboard school programs.

Great Jacket!
Super warm, light weight, and easy to pack.

Great jacket
We ordered one for our 6 year old son. It is very warm and light. We live in Norway, and he uses it at school and when playing in the snow. Temperatures are frequently below -10centigrade here. We used jetcarrier to ship it to Norway and that worked out fine.
