Convenient & still trendy..
Anyone that knows me knows that I am a very well dressed but trendy person & have to be being a Mom of a teen, pre-teen & a toddler. I am a coach of an all-star cheer team in Chgo., Il. (Go DE!) & always have my work on-hand if need be. Carry around the latest handbag, & "Louie" briefcase is nice but dealing w/27 cheerleaders can get a little difficult in "keeping your things nice" dept. From the cheerleaders; cheeto hands, make up, sweat, having to travel, your things can take a real beating. I ordered the North Face Jester backpack @ first my husband loved it so much he took it from me. So I ordered this one. It was even better. It can fit every one of my lady needs in one compartment, paperwork, my laptop/& my ereader tablet in the same pocket, my toddler's goodies in another, & cheer snacks for the cheerleaders. You say multi-purpose, I say lifesaver. About being trendy..what's hot in Chgo.; Northface. So you know my cheerleaders were lovin' that I had just bought another backpack. Thanks I love Altrec, I suggest you all to everyone!
The North Face Barricade
great bookbag. very well designed and constructed. very comfortable, even carrying a fairly heavy load. bottom panel could have been a little thicker/sturdier, though. weekdays it carries my work laptop and work stuff and weekends it hauls my gaming rig and gear. also, with the wide range of products that The North Face brand offers (I picked up a cheaper North Face wheeled backpack for a song from a street vendor in Greece a couple of years ago), the brand does not obviously mark/target it as an expensive bag. not so with say, a Mountainsmith.
