Great Summer Shoe!
I bought these shoes to wear to work. Our dress policy requires your entire foot be covered at all times. Since my feet tend to sweat in the summer, I needed a good- looking casual shoe with good ventilation. These shoes fit the bill! They fit my very wide feet perfectly, with or without socks. Because they cover my whole foot, I can wear them without socks and give my overheated feet a break during the summer months. I can't wait to try them at the lake!

Quite possibly the best water shoe ever!
I searched the web for a pair of true "water shoes" that would be appropriate to wear jet skiing. I came across the Teva Lava Falls and decided to give them a try. I'm an avid Teva fan to begin with; however, I believe these shoes deserve a great review regardless. The shoes fit true to size and the laces can be tightened for width. I have narrow feet and didn't have any problem adjusting the width to fit. I traded my old Teva Protons for these. I needed something I could wear to the lake that would dry quickly and keep my feet from getting completely sun burnt. With the Lava Falls, I can now walk back and forth to the trailer without major stone bruises on my feet. This was a great investment!

good support for walking
I ordered these in summer for a winter trip in Florida. I finally used them they have great support did not hurt my feet, but did leave fine sand in and water drains slow.

Soles Separated!
Wear them to the office? Maybe. Wear them for what they were designed for? Absolutely not! The outer sole separated from the next layer with less than 10 miles on the shoes. These were the only shoes I had on a 5-day raft trip, so this was a major problem to put it mildly. If you want performance, buy something else.
