Very Good Inexpensive Compass
This rascal was surprisingly accurate for such an inexpensive compass. After taking out the 14.5 degree E declination for our area, it pointed true north without hesitation. It's needle isn't easily spoofed by nearby metal either--that's a big plus. This is a fine product for a day hiker or as a backup for a serious outdoors-man.
