Constructed of polyester dobby weave with Dermizax 20,000 millimeter membrane and Spylon+ water-repellent finish, abrasion-resistant polyester oxford weave, and 40 gram Thinsulate insulation, the pants will remain warm and dry on the inside out, responding to your body's temperature and protecting you from the elements. With articulated knees that allow room for an athletic, "dare me to try this" stance without pulling or bunching, the Dare Pants will have you covered on the half-pipe and the high alpine ridge. Updated with removable high-back suspenders with a mesh insert for maximum comfort and versatility, the Dare Pants feature lower leg zippers, and reinforced scuff cuffs at the bottom hems. Cuff anchors, inner snow cuffs with logo Jacquard gripper elastic, and scuff guards keep the pants well sealed from the snow. The pants' critical seams are taped to prevent water or snow from penetrating while additional seams are constructed in such a way that water and snow will roll off and not catch in the exposed end of a seam, in what Spyder calls a "shingling a seam."

Warm and dry
I wore these pants on a cold day (15F) and a very warm day (47F) at Mammoth, CA. These pants are awesome! Durable, warm and a great fit allowing full motion on the mountain. Waist rides a little lower than most ski pants. Vents allowed much needed cooling on warm days.

Spyder is quality.
Great ski pants. Love the option to remove the suspenders if not needed. Got them to match my Spyder Leader Jacket. Wouldn't buy any other brand.
