An incredibly durable mountain boot pumped up with beefy features and rated to -40F (-40C).
Whether you work or play in the mountains, the Sorel Conquest snow boot offers some of the best winter comfort and protection found on any range. Like other quality Sorel boots, the Conquest has a waterproof and highly durable nubuck leather upper reinforced with a seam-sealed construction, but you'll also find extras like an integrated internal gator to seal out debris and an Achilles adjustment strap to enhance stiffness. Inside the Conquest snow boot is an incredibly plush layer of fast-drying 400-g. Thinsulate Ultra insulation, a proven synthetic design that keeps your feet comfortable all the way down to -40F (-40C). The drawbacks? None if you're outside, but be prepared to clean up after yourself if your mountain chalet mud room has white linoleum or light hardwood floors. The durable rubber black soles will leave marks on some floor surfaces.

Finally dry feet
I've live in the North East and have been working outdoors for business and pleasure pretty much all my life. For 22 years I've been fighting trying to keep my feet warm and dry with leather boots that claim to be " waterproof " with " Thinsulate " and every year after 10-12 hours in the snow and ice, my boots filled with water and my feet froze everyday delivering propane and heating oil to homes . I finally researched my dilemma and found great reviews on the Sorel snow boots. Two thumbs up, I'm delivering fuels with warm dry feet. ( finally )
Great winter boots
The Sorel Conquest is a great boot. It is durable and very warm, which is why I decided to purchase them after reviewing many boots. Having a high arch, it is a bit tricky getting my feet into the boots. So comfortable and warm once I do get in. The fit seems true to size and I like that the forefoot/toebox has lots of room where I need it most. it is a high volume boot so I can layer up on some socks depending upon the temperature outside. These definitely are more heavy duty than some of the other Sorel boots I have had and loved as well. I would recommend them to anyone.
Safe Boot
If you have diabetes, this is the winter outdoor footwear for you! I can walk, work on the farm, drive (boots are just shy of being too bulky) commute (car, train platform, city blocks) and still be able to wear them indoors w/o feeling like I need to take them off as soon as I get indoors. Fit is excellent, w/o being too snug for poor circulation times. The grip of the sole is next to none, except of course on sheer ice. The come off easy and go on pretty well too. Cold feet are bad news for me, and low activity periods in the car or outdoors have never been comfortable; until now. And high activity, long walks and work don't overheat dee footsies either. Couldn't be happier with my first pair of Sorels. Now if only we could get some snow with these temps in the low teens.
best pair of boots (I am over 60 years old)I've ha
for the money spent, can't find a better value, hands up!!!!!There are many times that we spend at least 14-16 hours a day in a pair of boots and I can actually run across ice, snow or whatever this north eastern nj weather can throw at us so far this winter. Bring it on!!!!!!!!
