Can't beat Smartwool!
I got hooked on Smartwool socks a few years ago. Until then I could go through a pair of socks in a few wearings, hole in the top of the big toe. Smartwool socks are bomb proof! I have worn the same pairs I first bought and continue to fill my sock drawer with only merino wool blend socks, summer cycling, through winter snow shoeing and spring and fall hiking. Everyday is a Smartwool day for my feet. They keep my feet cool in the summer and warmer in the winter. They are even making cute Women's size Large as this pair is! Finely I can get cute cycling socks with decorations from Smartwool.

Better than the rest
My wife loves these socks so much she stopped wearing her other socks which in fact were not bad at all. These are much better though. They are more comfortable especially when they're worn all day. They stay dry even when the weather is hot. They seem durable and they last a long time while still looking new. They are easy to wash and they dry quickly. She uses them for all purposes. The fit is good; comparable with most other socks of the same size.

These are my favorite socks, by far. I am a women's shoe size 9 and I went with the large because I had bought a medium before that have shrunk up a little, and they are perfect.

toasty toes
sox are "perfect storm" of extreme comfort, excellent insullation and complete lack of itchy-ness (!). wool sox surprisingly soft and warm. great for outdoor activities. wicks away any sweat and keeps feet warm.

My girlfriend loves these socks!
My girlfriend was very skeptical about merino wool socks. I kept raving and raving about them, and finally I bought her several as a gift. I've turned her into a Smartwool fan. She loves the bright colors, and now she can't take them off.
