Super Comfy and No Shrinkage!
I've never spent this much for a pair of socks before but was sick and tired of socks that either shrank in the wash or just didn't hold their shape after washing. I first washed the socks before wearing them and they held up wonderfully, no shrinkage or stretching, etc. I wore them for the first time last week and was so happy with how comfortable my feet felt in them. The weather was mild but I'm pretty sure, based on others' reviews, that these will be comfortable in all weather conditions (well, except maybe when it's 110 degrees here in the summer...I generally don't wear socks then anyway!). I would definitely recommend these and plan to buy more.

Cool
Broke these in on a steamy trek thru Disney World and as promised they really are cool when it's hot, or at least not hot. I love, love, love Smart Wool socks. They feel so good on your feet. I was very happy to find a light cushion version in a solid neutral color to go with my Khakis.

Great product! Very nice quality, although it would be nice if there was some sort of traction on the bottom since they are very slippery on wood floors.

Smart wool
Great fit and do not slide down. They are not bulky for their warmth factor. They have great respiration as they don't get humid and gradually colder over the course of the day. I find myself changing other cold weather socks every few hours for that same reason. I can go all day with these socks if need be.

Great for everyday
If you never had smartwool socks, you don't know what you are missing. They keep your feet dry and warm in winter and last forever. I have 5-6 different models and this one is not cushioned and not thick and that's what makes them great for everyday use. For hikes to the grocery store, or traffic jam marathons, if you know what I mean. I also like the color (oatmeal) and the fact that the elastic band is less tight then other models.
