YEAH THESE SOCKS ARE GREAT. THAT IS WHAT I EXPECTED AFTER READING ALL THE REVIEW OF SMARTWOOL SOCKS AND CONSIDERING THE PRICE, I EXPECTED QUALITY. I JUST WASHED THEM AND THEY LOOKED ALL SHRUNK UP LIKE KIDS SOCKS...BUT...THEY ARE STILL PERFECT AND FEEL SOOOO NICE. FIT GREAT. I NEVER PAID THIS MUCH FOR SOCKS...BUT...I MAY ORDER 5 MORE PAIRS ON TOP OF THE 5 PAIRS I JUST GOT. NEVER HAD A SOCK MAKE THAT MUCH DIFFERENCE!

Life's too short to wear bunchy socks!
I don't know what the "Phd" means; but, since my first pair of Smartwool socks about a year ago, I haven't bought anything else. They are pricy, but so far they seem to hold up well. These UL minis feel good as soon as you put them on(like my other Smartwool socks). They sort of hug your feet and keep the cushioning where it should be all day. I like 'em.

I love all my smartwool socks, and this one is not an exception. Nice design, comfortable. I now prefer to wear them even in the office, but the main purpose is obviously hiking and casual wear.

Awesome fit and finish
I purchased these socks for traveling in a hot and humid location. I am a new comer to smartwool and this is my first pair of socks by them. The socks are easily the best pair I have ever owned. Their "fit and finish" is second to none. But, the greatest thing is they feel so good and breath perfectly. I bought three after researching and would not hesitate to buy more. I wear a size 12 shoe and the XL was the perfect size.

Best socks I have ever owned...
These socks fit perfectly (I'm a men's 12 and ordered them in XL) and keep my feet dry and comfortable all day. They have light padding and a light compression fit, but are not restrictive at all. They have kept my feet surprisingly cool in extremely hot and humid weather. I love these socks and I'm now addicted to Smartwool products.
