Select users of wool, athletic socks
This is the lighter version of the sock which is ideal for summer use. Will be interested to see how it holds up to frequent use. I use this brand of sock with all casual dress (sneakers, boat shoes and loafers). Have always used wool, athletic socks (Wooten inspired high school coach) - like the fact that they are tight and never sag. Hard to find - Altrec site was easy to use and service was prompt.

Another great SmartWool product. Very lightweight and comfortable socks. They don't add much bulk inside your shoes, but provide decent cushioning and help keep feet dry.

Smartwool socks
I recently began wearing smartwool socks. I have been so impressed that i am in the process of converting exclusively to smartwool and away from cotton socks. I like the light cushion for everyday wear.
