Excellent beanie!
I bought this beanie because I've had great experiences with Smartwool socks and wanted to try their other offerings. First off, this is a basic cuffed beanie, but it's more than basic. It doesn't even feel like your old "scratchy" wool, it's just as soft as a nice cotton t-shirt. Don't let the seemingly thin construction fool you. This beanie kept my noggin' warm down to the lower 30s. In all, I'd recommend it for a nice basic soft and warm beanie.

Cuffed Beanie
This is my third beanie and I just love it. It's small, warm light and it does not take up space in your coat pocket. Good for traveling. Hardly find it on sale. Worth buying it at full price.

Great Lightweight Cap
This is a great lightweight cap that works in a range of temperatures due to the way SmartWool breathes. I'm a bald guy, so when the temps cool off I'm looking for a cap. These caps work really, really well. They're pretty tight fitting, so you don't look like you're over doing in on cool to cold days. In bitterly cold temps, I use something more substantial. However, if you are out in very cold temps and active, this solution may also work for you in those conditions. I love SmartWool.

I bought this hat for myself, my 6 y.o. son tried it and has been wearing it since. Thin and very sotf material, warm, but I have doubts this is a hat you can wear in extremely cold weather, because of the fact that it is so thin.

Our favorite hat!
My husband and I love these hats! They are warm and cozy without being bulky. We have five of them between the two of us to keep in cars and use for different activities. The cuff is great so you can adjust it to your liking, long or short, over your ears - never too big or small. If you wash and dry too much, it will get holes (after several washings - I am told that if you do not dry them, you will avoid this problem). Thanks smartwool!!!
