Super Comfy
My number one criteria is always comfort. I was searching for the most comfortable winter boot (that had a real sole and wasn't just a tent bootie). It came down to the Sierra Designs Mountain Boot and the North Face Nupste Bootie... I bought both. Both are very comfortable and feel more like slippers than boots. But I returned the North Face boots and kept the Sierra Designs boots. The Sierra Design boots were my first choice because they are: * a better fit for my size 9.5 feet * 100% waterproof (North Face was water resistant). * a little bit better-looking.

Good Lightweight Boot
The boot is as advertised - lightweight with a solid base for after hike comfort. Caution on the boot size though. I am a men's size 8 so I was happy to see the boot size medium was 8.5 to 9.5 so I would have room for a thicker sock. My toes with a thin sock in this boot hit the front of the boot though so I returned them for a size large which fits much better.

Not quite excellent
Seem very well made. Make noticeable noise with each step. Didn't seem too small, but when walking my toes impact the inside of the rubber toe of the boot; irritating over time; tightening boot seemed to make this worse. Warm but hard to believe the down fill is as much as they claim since not as much loft as my soft soled booties. Returned, so unsure if sole's grip is as good as it looks.
