Down-Filled Slippers
I looked high and low for down-filled booty slippers, as many well-known online shopping sites had them for many years. My husband gets very cold feet in the winter, and I bought two pair (one for him, and one for me -- from Santa) for Christmas. I was glad to find them at your site, and they appear to be very high quality. I am extremely satisfied! I have tried my pair, and they keep my feet toasty. We keep the temperature at 68 or below in the winter, and cold feet were a problem -- but, not any more. Down keep your body heat in better than any other insulator I've found. Thanks for carrying this product.
Good Buy for Camp
I really do love these booties but they were just too big. I have a women's 7, and ordered men medium because that's all there was and my feet were swimming. Disapointed in the availability of smaller sizes in any colour.
Happy Feet
Been looking for some good camp and home slippers for a while now, then these bootie beauties came into my life. I wear an 8.5 and the Mediums fit just right with a pair of mid-heavyweight socks. Obviously these aren't the same as your 850 jacket or bag, but they do a pretty good job of keeping your tired dogs toasty warm and campfire-cozy. (Note: Do NOT put these close to the campfire.) Sierra Designs did an overall good job with design, too. Two internal elastic bands, low on the ankle and high on the cuff, will keep these guys in place even if you need to dance an impromptu jig. The Rockettes couldn't loosen these bad boys. They filled them with down right up to the top, too; the top cuff itself is comfy microfleece, and the elastic locks in the toasty goodness. If I HAD to gripe, I would have to say that some more padding on the non-skid soles would've sealed a 5 star review for them. The bottoms of my feet can feel the cold concrete of the back porch when I stand or walk in them. Can't speak intelligently about their durability just yet, but then I don't expect to do much trail running in them either. All in all, a great buy...especially when on sale.
