so far so good!
As I go though two pair of running shoes a year I have always leaned towards Brooks . But recently I have been trying new brands. Avia, Diadora,Solomen and now Saucony. So Far these rate right at the top of my list with Brooks. Maybe even alittle ahead. Great kick back with these . Very comfortable to run or walk in.
Pleasant Surprise
Bought these on sale and after two months and 200+ miles I still enjoy them. There's a nice blend of cushioning and support. I like the hard rubber outsole which is durable and provides great traction on trails/grass/snow. Even comfortable enough for some road running. The sock liner is top notch. The only negative was that they felt tight at first but after 5-6 runs in them they stetched out.
Saucony rocks!
I have been wearing Saucony running shoes for several years now. I am a woman with a wide foot, and I buy men's sauconys. I would guess that Saucony fits a wider foot better than most brands, but I can't speak for everyone. They fit me great, and I wouldn't buy any other brand! They also have a lot of heal cushion if that is something that is important to you.
Good so Far
I bought these shoe to walk in, so indoor and some outdoor. They appear to be very high quality. The fit is a bit narrow, and there was a part of the lacing system that bothered me at first but has resolved. The traction is excellent and the support is just right...not too firm but not to cushy either. Overall, seem to be a good buy!
Trail 2
This is my 3rd pair - great trail shoe - lasts about 400 miles +or- Great tread - good construction - holds up well. Good price on this shoe - it has been replaced by the Trail 3 this year 2010 - not sure of difference - looks like mostly cosmetic.
