perfect Seattle coat
I love this coat! The fit is perfect, I was worried that because there was not an extra small the small would be too big, but it is not. Just enough room for layering yet still has a nice shape. Not too heavy or light. Perfect coat for Seattle weather.

So Right for NY
I've been asked so many times, 'where did you get that jacket?' Of course I do tell. I purchase this in the green and absolutely love it. It's right for this time of year in NY. It's not bulky and provide the warmth that I need.I got caught in the rain walking across campus and I didn't have to worry because it waterproof.

Love it!
I bought S in green color. It's my adorable soft shell as it is bright and warm! It is pretty tight (I am 35,4 in chest) and short (I am 5'5"") but that's just what I need as I am waring it with down vest.

Good for backpacking
Haven't actually used this yet but.. Could be less bulky and more stretchy like other soft shells such as North Face's Cipher Windstopper. However, considering the fact that it is lined, I feel much warmer in it. The fit is also wanting. It has more of a masculine fit-bulky in the shoulders and too fitted in the waist. I wish it had a more feminine fit. I usually am a medium, but in most soft shell jackets I am a small (like the above mentioned North Face). This is true even though I have semi-broad shoulders and a narrow waist. But in this jacket, I definitely need a medium. Oh, and the hood is a bit annoying-way too snug. I wish the neck was a bit longer so I wouldn't feel restrained when trying to move my head. And the top of the hood should protrude more so that I don't catch any rain-its not protective enough. Sleeve length is perfect, but the jacket could be longer. But I gave it 4 stars because it will probably do the job-keep me warm and dry. When I poured water on it to test, the water totally beaded right off! I'm gonna exchange it for the medium.
