A responsive triple-density EVA cushioned midsole is wrapped in a rubber belt and mud guard for dry protection, while the Agile Chassis Skeleton ensures smooth heel-to-toe transitions and side-to-side stability. Bounding downhill as you skip over the occasional log or boulder, the Contagrip outsole maximizes speed by collecting your heel strike energy and transferring it back during push-off. Comfortable and dry
I love this shoe, especially for wet weather. Feels great and cushioned. The WaterProof material is fine, prefer to GTX. I continue to be satisfied with Salomon shoes.

Great Shoes!
Salomon by far makes the most durable shoes on the market. I have worn a pair for more than two years and they are now finally showing some wear on the soles. I run about 15 miles a week 12 months out of the year.
