I have been looking for a good all around winter boot. These boots are great. Look good and fit great. They are warm. They are true to fit. Wish they came in more colors.

Great winter shoe
Got these for my dad. He has problems with feet and Salomon seems to be the only company that would satisfy his need for comfortable foot-bed. This shoe was no exception. The size fitted perfectly. These shoes are also very warm - rated -7C on Salomon website, but my dad wore these at -20C and claimed he was warm even with regular cotton socks.

Super lightweight winter walker/hiker.
I have just received these boots so I can't say for sure that they will be durable but they do seem very well made, and from sturdy materials. They are puddle and snow proof so far, and quite comfortable for walking. They are much warmer than I expected them to be so don't get them if you won't have weather at least the 40's, though if you are standing around in rainy but warmer weather they might be nice. The sole has great traction, especially on slippery wet surfaces. They do seem to run a bit short, say a half size. I am more often a 9.5 but a 10 in this particular boot. They are hands down the best looking and most sensibly designed membrane lined boot I could find, and they weigh only as much as a light hiker.

nice boot
sturdy lightweight and comfortable boot. buy one size larger than normal. easy on and off. well worth it
