These board shorts fit well, not too tight or loose. And they are not too long either. I ordered the black ones and they didn't have the lighter stitching as shown in the picture. They have a handy bottle opener/comb in the cargo pocket. It is removable but it leaves a lanyard type clip that seems like it would be useful to attach keys or something else. They seem durable so far, I just got back from a trip that involved some climbing on rough rocks. Nothing ripped or even scuffed. I will be ordering more of these in the future.
