A big help
Our big greyhound had a partial stroke 5 years ago. He had a remarkable recovery but was left with some one-sided weakness and as he's grown older (now almost 11), the stairs in the house had become daunting for him and frightening for me because he couldn't control his descent and I had nightmares of him fallling and breaking a leg or worse. I ordered a medium harness for the 90# boy and it fits him quite well. I'm very glad I didn't go with a large which was my first thought until reading other reviews. The first day, he wasn't too crazy about it but I leave it on him almost all of the time and he doesn't seem to mind it a bit. It has been an absolute godsend for helping him with stairs. He waits very patiently until I have my hand on the harness handle and then we walk slowly down the stairs. Even when he jumps from the last couple of steps, I can still control his descent very easily. My only complaint is that the adjustable belts tend to slip and have to be re-snugged every day but that's a small complaint because it's very easy to do. I'd highly recommend this for any one who has a dog with problems going up and down stairs.

It took a few tries for my little dog to get used to it, but i love that it does not pull on her little neck. It is very well built and fully adjustable.

Awesome!
I have a 6 month old border collie that was having some issues with laying down on our walks. He wants to get into the herding position with every bike, car and person that we pass. I have had this harness for 2 weeks now and have almost completely rehabilitated him. He now sits nicely at my side when he gets anxious about a moving object. The handle really helped with this as I was able to get him to a sitting position without having to really touch him much. Before he was getting upset if I interrupted him. This harness is really nice and has great padding. He loves wearing it and prances around the house. It fits great and he has room to grow in it - we got it in Medium.

Awesome Quality
This is no ordinary harness! This is a super harness! We bought this harness for our upcoming RV trip and it fits our Jack Russell great!! The quality is top notch. We also bought the leash with the bungie to help make hitting the trails with our puppy a bit easier. This is also a good idea because the clasp on our regular leash is too small for the beefy hook on the harness.

Great harness for an escape artist!
I never thought that I would find a good quality harness that my little girl couldn't escape from, I finally found it. I took her camping, and hiking, she tried to back out of it a few times at first and found that she couldn't. It didn't take long for her to get use to it and now she looks forward to putting it on because she knows she is going out for an adventure. The harness is very well constructed, it has a good fit, even for a small dog. My dog seems very comfortable in it as well. I had to use the handle to pick her up when a large dog ran up to her and scared her, although I don't plan on making it a habit of picking her up that way, it was easy and didn't hurt her due to the way this harness is constructed. I highly recommend this harness, now I can feel at ease when I take her out knowing that she won't slip out of it. It also has a reflective trim which is a great safety feature.
