Great Solution to Tangled Walks!
This is a terrific solution to walking our two dogs with very different walking styles! It keeps them going the same pace and direction.

The only way to walk my two brutes
I have two large Labs and this thing works great. It's amazing to watch how the Knot-a-Coupler works to keep both dogs side by side. Used in conjunction with the Web Master harness and Knot-a-Long leash, it is the only way to walk two large working dogs.

Maybe with some practice...
Once we got out the door and moving we had a nice walk. I have a pair of Doodles, one medium 45# and one small 15#. We bought the large coupler which accomidated their height difference well. The item is very well made. I was impressed with the quality. I would like to buy the collars and lead to match now. Don't expect to walk out the door with great success but maybe with some practice and training it is better than 2 leads.

Works for collars. . .
This works great for collars, but not so great for gentle leaders...and maybe not so great for Great Danes? I imagine it would serve its purpose for average to small size dogs.

Gonna pass on this one
The only thing that made me purchase this item was the fact that the website stated that 2 dogs of any size could be walked at the same time. I have a 1 1/2 yr old Doberman (well trained) and a 4 1/2mo old Rottweiler (currently being trained) and I couldn't wait for the coupler to arrive. Both dogs "walk nice" on separate leashes but the idea of having one hand free while walking them made me happy. I've been walking my dogs with the coupler for 2 wks now and unfortunately I am not impressed at all. The first few days our walks were quite sloppy because the dogs had to get used to walking side by side as opposed to one on each side of me. I didn't give up, I kept trying hoping things would get better...they didn't. My dogs keep crisscrossing each other, the little one keeps ending up under the big one and if one dog gets excited (by another dog or squirrel or decides they want to chase a leaf blowing in the wind) the other dogs automatically gets going too and the tugging motion on my arm is not a pleasant experience. So for now I'm going to hang up the coupler and continue walking them on separate leashes. Perhaps when my puppy is a little older and bigger this will be the leash of my dreams. But for now I'm gonna pass.
