great pants
this is my second pair. love how comfortable and flattering they are. only wish they had some more interesting colors. this one is sort of a khaki though it's almost a little grayish. not my favorite color but am happy with the pants nonetheless.

At Size 2 Short, these pants fit well on my 5'1' frame. It has a flattering fit (which have been hard to find for me in pants like these) - sitting in between my natural waistline and hip. It's great for traveling - lightweight, packable (taking up the same amount of space as a cotton long sleeve shirt), and minimal wrinkles. The pants were perfect for my summer Italy trip where I did a 5 hour hike in unexpected rainfall. Once the rain let up, the fabric quickly dried up and kept me comfortable for the rest of my hike.

Discovery everyday pants
These are the nicest fitting pants that I have found. I am very petite, 5' and have trouble finding pants that fit well. These fit like nice slacks and are very flattering. They are also very comfortable and stretchy.

Nice Pants!
Purchased these pants for travel in hot climate and I think they will be perfect. They are very light weight and have some stretch being made of Nylon with 4% spandex. My normal size fit great (more form fitting than most travel/hiking pants.) The Discovery pants are true to size while the Discovery skirt runs at least a size too big. Also a very flattering fit with pants hitting below the waist. I'm 5'5" and the regular length was perfect.

Stylish but tight fit
I love, love, love the Discovery pants and have several of them in the previous year's model. The pants are well designed, the fabric is great, easy care and quick drying (very handy for running around with kids!), and the pants can go pretty much anywhere. That said, this year's model is cut a bit differently: the fit is tighter, which is very flattering if you are athletic and toned, but it is less so if you have any extra pounds (although a longer tunic might solve that problem). I also noticed that the cut seems inconsistent from pair to pair - I ordered two pairs of the same size - one pair fit ok, but I had to return the other because it was way too tight. Overall though, very good pants.
