The affordable new Prism Snapshot 1.2 Kite fits radical aerial thrills in your pocket, your briefcase, or the glove box of your car. Exceptionally fast and hard-pulling for their size, even the 1.2 will keep you on your toes when the wind picks up. Unlike most parafoils, the Snapshot sports a tight, responsive turn response that feels like driving a finely tuned sports car as compared to a truck; it just feels good carving up the sky. Smaller than the foils you'd use for buggying or kiteboarding, these wings are the ideal intro to power kiting and dual-line control. They're great for learning the basics because there's nothing to break when you crash, but you'll bring yours everywhere once you get the hang of it because they're just so much fun. Carefully shaped inlets keep the wing from collapsing in gusty wind, a constant problem with lesser designs, and the elliptical planform with a new airfoil profile minimizes drag for awesome speed and acceleration. Complete with Spectra lines already attached, flight straps, winder, and tail, the Snapshot will make a wind junkie out of you on your first breezy day.

We had a great time with this kite
The snapshot is our first kite and we just loved flying it in the park. It is definately going to be something we carry with us on outings from now on. Great fun! Love how portable it is and how easy it is to get up in the air. Be prepared, you need room to stretch 85 feet of line all the way out, to fly this, as you start lines all unwound. A beach or a field is a great choice.

Everything I could have asked for.....and more!
I purchased a Snapshot 1.2 while on vacation in the Outter Banks. The instructions were very clear and easy to follow. I had the kite unpacked and flying in a matter of minutes. The tricks I was able to perform were amazing! I'm so excited about the Snapshot 1.2 that I'm thinking about buying one of the larger models. This is an awesome kite. I would highly recomend it to anyone who in in the market for simple, virtually indestructable kiting fun.

Great flyer and trouble-free
This fast little kite flies like a bullet in moderate winds! It turns fast, but no fear if you crash because there is nothing to break, and with a couple of tugs it launches itself again! Great for travel because it packs down to about the size of a paperback book. I would love to hear from others who have taught themselves to do tricks with these little snapshots.

It's OK...
I thought this would be some kite that would give me some kind of serious workout but the kite isn't so big, so it's not pulling so much. Tried it on Crandon park Beach, good location for doing kite but the kite isn't as fast or as strong as I expected. shipping was a little long...

I love it but it could be improved
I love this kite. It is so much better than the old style kites. So my criticisms should not be taken as that serious. So here they are: One, the strings break. It's great that the kite comes with instructions on what the wind speed range is, BUT WHO KNOWS WHAT THE WIND SPEED IS WHEN YOU'RE OUT IN A FIELD? Sometimes I can use trees etc. to kind of judge the wind speed, especially since I've learned when the strings break. Second, it's a real pain to unwind and wind up the strings. I'm not too impressed with the winder thingy that came with the kite. I SPEND A LOT OF TIME UNTANGLING THE STRINGS. They get tangled when you fly the kite, they get tangled when you unwind the strings, they get tangled when you wind up the strings, they get tangled just sitting on the floor. OVERALL, THOUGH, LIKE I SAID, I LOVE THIS KITE.
