very comfortable
This is a long sleeve all cotton shirt, unique in that the interior is a fine terry, making it quite special in my opinion... it is exceptionally comfortable. Being all cotton, it breathes as only natural fiber can, but even though it is rather thick and warmish, it isn't the warmest base layer you'll find (it's strength is comfort, not warmth). The sleeves are longish (but they're going to shrink some), the tail is long enough and the fit is close, but not small. Considering that cotton will shrink a little, don't be afraid to upsize a little if in doubt. The colors are rich and not loud, there is a clever weave of contrasting color in the terry interior and in some exterior stitching. It is great under a light windproof shell but a bit "grabby" with any jacket with a plush type lining. For a really lightweight and warm combination, put it under a down sweater and you'll smile all day long. It delivers in the comfort department!
