Comfortable but too long of a rise
My husband's petzl harness is way too short-waisted for me with my long torso. short-legged. I am a curvy 5'6", 185lbs woman with short legs and a long-torso (buy long-torso swim suits) and a hefty backside. After I tried a medium LUNA on at a local store and liked the padding and ease of the buckles, I ordered a large. The medium size legs and waist had been a couple of inches too small for comfot but my measurements matched up for the large. I was suprised that the rise was too long on the large with the longer loop. Its like they overcompensated there compared to the size of the waist and legs. I am concerned that if I fall and the legs are not very tight, they could slide down to my mid-thighs. I am trying it on now and the harness stays at the waist nicely and with the elastic at the back, it couldn't easily slide the rest of the way off if I fell upside down but it is a little disconcerting how much the legs slide down if not tight. Also the padding at the waist doesn't come around far enough (I have a 35" waist) to pad under the buckle on the left side. I think I will try to re-sale it to someone with a larger backside and smaller waist at the local gym since it is not returnable. The padding is comfy though.
