Classic dress
I ordered this dress in the Garland/Raven pattern, size small. I am 5'2" and about 125 pounds and it fits me perfectly. It is a little low-cut but a black cami will solve that problem. The fabric is soft which makes it very comfortable to wear. The cut, fit, style and pattern are classic so this dress will be in style for a long time. It appears to be very packable so I'm sure it will become a grab 'n go dress.

make my day......
Had a terrrible day, had to make a dinner party, poor attitude, nothing to wear. Then at my door-huzzah!! my new dress. Immediate gratification via lovely drapey material, flattering fit, Patagonia quality, wonderful colors right outta the bag. Could be worn with heels and pearls or boots and silver. Love this dress. Again, Patagonia came through and , yes, made my day.....

Sweet and Versatile
I bought this dress for work, and it is just perfect for that. It is a little low cut, but with a tank top under it, its just right. The length is also appropriate, especially if paired with tights and boots. The waist is above my natural waist and is quite flattering on those of us who don't need a skin-tight dress. I am 5'8'' and the size medium was just right. I get lots of complements on the pattern as well, I may just have to get another one in another color!

Great Dress!
Classy, stylish, comfortable..can't say enough about this dress. It's the one I reach for the most! I wear a size 10-12 dress and the large fits perfect. I get many compliments on it everytime I wear it. I don't think you can go wrong with it. I pair it with the patagonia serenity tights, so length wasn't an issue for me.

Very attractive dress
I bought this dress for my wife as a last minute Christmas present knowing I likely couldn't go too far wrong with a piece of clothing from Patagonia. The material and pattern were very well represented on the website so I felt well informed on that and the advice for the size/fit was covered by the reviews from other women who had purchased the dress. Based on all these parameters the dress I ordered fit very well and it was definitely a keeper. The fit was true with all the other clothing my wife had from Patagonia so it wasn't much of a gamble. It's a very nice dress for many purposes and the quality is consistent with all the other Patagonia products we've purchased. This is the first piece of "dress" clothing I've bought from Patagonia and was really pleased with it. More importantly, so was my wife!
