The sun has set, the air is cold and three rugged miles lie between you and a warm car. Good motivation to zip up the dependable Women's Traverse Jacket and pick up the pace. Patagonia's lightest, most breathable soft-shell jacket provides good wind resistance, and is made from a fast-drying polyester/spandex fabric, with 4-way stretch for unrestricted movement; a Deluge DWR (durable water repellent) finish to resist wet weather. Features for sealing out wind and chilly weather include a mesh-lined, zip-through stand-up collar, a full zip with wind flap and zipper garage, and revised gathered elastic cuffs. A drawcord waist and hem and a slightly dropped tail provide additional protection. Pockets: two zippered handwarmers and a zippered left bicep with an interior cord pass-through for an audio device. Reflective front and back logos and reflective graphics at the cuffs provide nighttime visibility. Recyclable through the Common Threads Recycling Program.

Great versatile jacket
I was searching for a lightweight soft shell jacket and this one turned out to be the perfect three season running jacket (in winter I plan to wear it with a mid weight or lightweight merino shirt depending on the temperatures) . It blocks the wind and rain, and provides great protection but is so lightweight! The description says it is a slim fit, which I think is a bit misleading, it has a tailored shape and a flattering cut but still is roomy enough to be very comfortable. It is also versatile and has enough style to be worn for casual and not just sports (most of my other running jackets I would never wear for casual).
Lightweight Running Buddy
If you're looking for a windproof jacket, this guy does the trick. I take it trail running and it doesn't overheat me like most jackets. I'm finicky about carrying unneeded gear when I run, but this jacket is super lightweight (4.7oz), and tying it around my waist doesn't bother me (though I hardly take it off). Remember, however, this jacket is water RESISTANT, not waterproof ;) Not sure how Patagonia tops size regularly, but I'm usually between a S and M in tops due to wider shoulders and this S fit perfectly.
Great Jacket
This jacket has a great trim fit. The fabric is very lightweight and almost silky. It is soo comfortable. The color on the website is a little off. The grey color is actually more of a slate blue. I kept it just the same though!
Exactly what I was looking for
My girlfriend is a runner. She loves to run no matter what the weather is outside. The problem is she didn't own any type of water or wind resistant jacket. I wanted to get her something thin, breathable, and water/wind resistant so she could go out on those not so nice days. This jacket is perfect. Not too thick, not too thin. I got one size up for her because she loves to wear hoodies and this is a great water resistant layer to put over that. It also does a great job of keeping her warm when she layers it. Overall, great jacket for everything.
I like this jacket
This jacket is perfect for aerobic activity like speed walking, XC skiing, or cycling. It's not too warm since it is not insulated. I wear a long sleeve Patagonia base layer and a vest under it for the perfect mix of layers and just zip and unzip as needed. The sleeves are long enough to pull down over my hands if they get cold. I'm a pear shape and it fits true to size covering my bum without being tight. My only complaint is that it seems a bit tight in the shoulders but because it is a soft shell, it is flexible without being noisy, so I just try to ignore the shoulder thing. It's great as a windbreaker but I have yet to wear it in the snow or rain. Great color, too!
