most excellent
I was looking for a top that wasn't too warm. I live on the coast in California so although it gets cold it's not prolonged. I love it. Not itchy. I'm hitting my 6th decade and am on the water or in the woods most of the time. At 5'9" tops often run too short which may be great for casual wear but not when the object is to keep me warm. I wear it cycling as well as hiking and just around town. I recommend this to any and all.

Great Item!
This shirt/hoody is one of the best tops I have purchased. The fit is perfect, colors great, and last but not least, the feel and performance is outstanding. It is merino wool, light weight, so I find myself wearing it a lot this winter as an under layer. It doesn't cause one to sweat like synthetics. The hood is convenient. This garment will get a lot of use.

nice warm layer
I wore this ice climbing on a frigid day in New Hampshire. I liked the soft wool and I used the hood a first layer under my helmet. The color is nice and the design is flattering
