LOVE THESE!
Great color and material...up-to-date style. The fit is perfect and true to size. I got the dark blue, but will also get the light grey.
Stoked
These pants are great. I wasn't too sure about the sizing so I got both the 29 and 30's. I ended up with the 29's I normally wear a medium in Prana or size 6/8 (depends on the brand). I was worried about the legs fitting but they are fine. Length is fine too (I'm 5'3") because of the slim fit they bunch up ok at the ankle.
Stylish jeans...
But, the fit is not perfect. I am a big Patagonia fan and was very excited to see that they have re-styled their jeans to be a little more fitted. I am 5'6", 130lbs and the size 8 fits perfect in the hips and legs. My only complaint is that the waste is too big, and I am constantly having to hike my jeans up or wear a belt. If only these jeans were an inch or two smaller in the waste with the same fit in the legs and hips...that would be perfection.
Slightly dissapointed
It's hard to find good quality jeans that don't cost a fortune, so I was happy to find that Patagonia made a straight fit pair of jeans and was excited to try them out. There were three things that disappointed me about these jeans 1) They actually flare slightly at the bottom so are not a true "straight fit" in my opinion. 2) The fit is really tight around the thigh area compared to the waist. I'm an average 6-8 size in jeans and not particularly curvy but found that the thigh area was very snug while the waist has quite a bit of slack and I have to keep pulling them up. 3) The fabric is rather itchy and uncomfortable. I'll continue to buy Patagonia jackets online but may not purchase another set of jeans unless I can try them on first.
