Great layering piece
This is my fourth el cap jacket over the years; i guess that speaks to it's quality. It is a versatile piece. I use it in fall & spring as a jacket & in winter a a mid-layer. It is warm without bulk so flattering to the figure. I also love the adequate sleeve length for someone who is 5'8". My only wish is this jacket had zippered pockets. I think it's a great piece.

Love the product, it is nice and light, perfect for hiking. This product is also great for layering during ski season. Also found that the size chart provided was accurate. Lastly, the material is really soft and comfortable.

el cap is perfect jacket
I LOVE this jacket. It is perfect! I would like to own it in several colors as it is the jacket I always reach for. The fit is incomparable to other fleeces I have worn....it is feminine and has nice style, there is a bit of a curve at the waist and the hem hits right at hemline...I am long waisted and tall so have had trouble before with some more feminine styled outerwear either sitting too high at waist or not having enough coverage through the shoulders but this is perfect for my curvy but athletic frame. It comes in some beautiful colors unlike a lot of other fleece jackets which are more basic. It can be worn anywhere and provides that extra layer of warmth for a spring, summer evening or morning or fall hike or just a lightweight jacket in a cool house. It is not meant to be waterproof of course but is a warm alternative when damp so it is a really good choice for any camping or hiking trip. The only thing I can criticize is that it will pill and thin and become rougher eventually through repeated washings....I cannot complain as I have worn mine round the clock for a year now so I have certainly gotten my wear out of it! I find either low heat drying or air drying keeps the jacket fluffy and pill free longer.

Amazing Fleece
I bought this one for my girlfriend's birthday. It came just on time. She wore the fleece whole winter. She loves it. She said that it is warm and comfortable and that she like it much more than The North Face fleeces that she has.

Go-to fleece for everyday wear
I have the El Cap in several colors and wear one just about every day the weather requires a long-sleeved layer, inside or out. It's so soft, cozy, and attractive, and it layers well. The only problem is, I now have a bunch of sweaters in my closet I no longer wear because none are as comfortable as this fleece! At 5'2" and 118#, the small fits perfectly, except for the arms, which are a bit long (but my arms are relatively short). Turing up the cuff does the trick.
