Love this coat!
I have been a fan of patagonia since I can remember, but they have gona above and beyond with this coat. I have worn this coat in 35 degree weather, and in 8 degree weather, and each time I was snug as a bug. So lightweight feeling, awesome tailored fit (true to size), but I still feel like I can climb everest in it. Not too long for hikes, not too short for playing in the snow. Great for work or play. THANK YOU Patagonia!
best coat ever
I debated for a long time between this coat and the Mountain Hardware Downtown coat, and ultimately chose this one because of its trim fit, even though it didn't have the cute fur around the hood and the fleece lining. I don't regret my choice--it has kept me toasty, and I don't feel like a poof ball. I'm 5'8" and 128 lbs. and the size small fits great. I haven't put it to the test as far as how waterproof it is, but it did fine in some light rain. I wish it were still winter so I could keep wearing it. :)
love love love this coat
I purchased this in January and have worn it all winter - well unfortunately have still worn it some even into April as it's been cold in the midwest. The design on this is great - not bulky at all and very flattering for a down coat. And of course down is the warmest (and lightest) there is for staying warm in the winter. It is slim fit, but true to size. Don't size up people! You don't need to.
great coat!
i'm always freezing and have finally found a coat that keeps me warm, even in the subzero temps we've been having lately! The fit is a bit odd - I'm 5'3 105 lbs, small build, but its still tight in the shoulders if i'm wearing a heavy sweater or fleece underneath
Patagonia Down With it Parka
I live in the Northeast and have to wear a suit every day. This jacket is by far the warmest and most stylish, versatile (casual or dress) coat on the market. I highly recommend this parka. The quality is superior to competing brands. It is warm and fits as described. This is well worth the purchase price, which, in my opinion, is arguably under priced.
