Patagonia's most versatile baselayer for the broadest range of temperatures, the quick-wicking Women's Capilene 3 Midweight Crew has a brushed interior that retains heat and a smooth jersey exterior that provides superior glide for snag-free layering. The slightly fitted silhouette affords a bulk-free fit without compromising mobility. Shoulder and side seams on the tops are thoughtfully placed to reduce friction from a climbing sling, pack or luggage straps. Fashioned of quick-wicking, fast-drying and insulative 64% post-consumer recycled (and 100% recyclable), this streamlined insulating shirt also features Gladiodornatural odor control. From high-altitude bivies to sun-soaked water sports, the Capilene 3 Midweight Crew base layer affords quick-drying, next-to-skin moisture management for all activities in all conditions. Recyclable through the Common Threads Recycling Program, Research shows that the environmental impact of recycling worn-out Patagonia Capilene base layers into new polyester fiber is significantly lower than making that same fiber from virgin materials. Taking into account that worn-out garments are diverted from trash incinerators, making new polyester fiber from recycled garments results in an energy savings of 76% and a CO2 emissions [greenhouse gasses] reduction of 71%, versus creating that fiber from new raw material.

Nice
Stay out longer and play in the cold with the Patagonia Womens Capilene 3 Crew. This long-sleeve, ber-warm shirt adds crucial warmth to your layering system for wicked cold days on the hill. This sweet base layer fights odors with an all-natural Gladiodor odor treatment, wicks moisture, and dries quickly so youre comfy all day long.
Great Base Layer
I purchased these for my wife to tends to be cold when we go to the cabin in the winter. She wore these non-stop, including for our outing in the snow. She said the base layer felt light, even under jeans. She slept in them comfortably and said they could also easily be worn as a single layer. Quality has been holding up nicely with washing for a few months now.
Headover heels for Capilene 3 !
Have been wearing capilene 3 crew neck and turtle necks for 15+ years. They are not bulky and are very warm. I use them to layer under sweaters. If I'am wearing my Patagonia capilene I know I'll be warm. They are my go to staple when the cold weather comes to town. They breathe, and are made exceptionally well. I couldn't do with out them,I'am a patagonia groupie.Forever!!! My only complaint is the arms are long. But I am only 5ft tall and 1201bs.I try to stock up on a sale, they are expensive!
Year-round Staple
My boyfriend and I both love Capilene 3 baselayers--both the tops and bottoms. They insulate well in a range of temperatures, are very packable and the zip neck is especially easy to throw on and off. These have become year-round staples in our active wardrobes, whether it be as baselayer in the colder months or stand alone as it gets more mild. The best part is that they look great for apres as well!
