Love the look, but not the style
I purchased this to wear as a mid-layer while skiing. Out of the package, I loved the styling--functional, yet finished enough to wear to school on ski days. However, when I tried it on, the multiple seams down the length of the sleeves were so scratchy and annoying that I had to take it off. I suppose if I were wearing a long-sleeve base layer I wouldn't notice, but I tend to wear short sleeves for mobility. It's a beautiful piece and a great price, so if annoying sleeve seams don't bother you, go for it! The fit, the style and the color were very comfortable and flattering otherwise, so if Patagonia were to eliminate those extra seams, I would definitely purchase the new design.
