The unique Patagonia Wind Track Pullover for Men is a light hybrid jacket for those active adventurers who want up-front core windproof protection and plenty of breathability. A windproof membrane that lines the front keeps gusts from taking a bite and chilling you down , while a brushed, fast-wicking polyester grid interior that provides warmth throughout, vents excess moisture buildup out the back and armsthe R1 exhaust-pipe effect. Thumb loops that anchor and cover the wrist gap on a cold day, fit comfortably under a glove cuff to shut out the elements. With a large zip chest pocket, a reflective logo, non-snagging Fitz Roy logo tape on the inside wind flap, this efficient pullover is perfect for high energy Nordic skiing, running, snowshoeing and active backcountry skiing pursuits. Slim fit.

Wind Proof
The Wind Track Pullover is amazingly warm, lightweight and perfect for temperatures between 15-30 degrees. The vented back and sleeves allow your body to breath while the front wind proof panel blocks even the stiffest winter winds. The thumb holes work great keeping your hands from the elements.
Technically sound but not best fit
I love Patagonia products but being an athletic body frame cause many problems for me with most Patagonia garments. This one is no exception. I had to get a large because the arm pits are tight due to the chest measurements. Patagonia needs to either make an american cut line and a youth or Euro line or create a hybrid of the two. Funny how ALL Arc Teryx garments fit me perfectly. Never a problem with any piece I've tried. Everything is a medium like it should be but can't say the same for patagonia. Quality is tops and so is the technical aspects but fit is suspect.
Comfortable though far from perfect
The front panel (red) has the wind proof layer, while the rest of it (including the back) is like the Patagonia R2 or R3 material, and not wind-proof. The fit is fantastic, and feel awesome, though I find the sleeves and thumb holes are a little too short for my abnormally long arms. If I had normal arms, the thumb holes would be perfect. The chest pocket is great, and zippers work smoothly, though the thickness of the chest material and pocket won't support something as heavy as an iphone. Overall, it's a great mid layer but not as warm as a complete polartec pullover, nor as wind resistant as a complete gore-windstop layer. I might not buy it again, but at a sale price it's almost worth it just for the looks and feel.
