Patagonia Vertical Mass
Great bag for a laptop and laptop accessories (power brick, cd case, mouse, etc) Don't think it has a lot of room for books in addition to a laptop, but I don't think it was designed for that. Great slim bag for laptop and accessories.

Patagonia Vertical Mass
Well, patagonia makes a killer bag. It's perfect for a laptop, but that's about it. There isn't much room for anything else. I think it's a little overpriced although it is Patagonia and there stuff will last until the end of the world. I'd say it's a good messenger bag, but they could have made it just a touch bigger just in case you want to place files in it or whatever and added a few more zipper pockets. I guess if you want something bigger, go with the half mass bag.
