Amazing Jacket
I been looking for a full on waterproof jacket for some time and this sucker fits the bill. The attention to detail is outstanding and the fit and like it was made for me.

Patagonia Stretch Ascent - good and bad
This is a great lightweight shell, and very stretchy, just a little small for me, and XL was the only size available, I could probably use a XXL. The stretch and material is great, and it isn't a noisy crinkly shell. I am not sure about how it would hold up over the long haul. I like the weight and material, but I absolutely hate the inner pocket hem drawcords, I realize they won't get caught in a climbing harness, but I don't understand why so many manufacturers are going to them - they aren't any faster, they still take two hands to operate if you want to get them tight enough, and they never stay cinched, that is the main reason I am returning the jacket, that, and it could use a chest napolean pocket ... if these two things aren't issues for you, buy it, becuase it is great, if they are issues, look at other products.
