Great shorts
Great shorts for outdoor climbing in the summer or if your local gym forgets how to use the AC. Much like the rock guide pants, the shorts are slim fit through the legs which works great with a harness and the fabric stetches and moves well.

sturdy shorts
pants are narrow and go down to my knees but not beyond which is nice. they are very flexible when stretching for a hold on the boulders. Another nice feature is how bomber these shorts are designed with the fabric, I don't feel I have to be careful that they will rip when I'm climbing. pockets are big enough and the side pocket is big enough to put the essentials in it.

These shorts tend to run a little large in the waist, at least at the smaller waist sizes. Ordered my usual 30 and had to use a belt as they were otherwise too loose to stay up. The are lightweight but feel sturdy and work well for hiking and light climbing.
