Perfect Mid-layer ...
The Patagonia R1 Pullover is the perfect mid layer for any cold weather outdoor activity. I used it as a mid layer on ski trips to Vail and Lake Tahoe and it helped keep me warm and dry. It is well made, as you would expect from Patagonia, and washes up great. I've also used it fly-fishing... very versatile. Runs true to size but slimmer fit. I'm 6' 1", 195lbs and wear a Large.

R1 Pullover
Excellent piece of gear for layering in the backcountry or just wearing around the neighborhood. This garment is not windproof, so if you know that going in you will be happy to use it as part of a layering system and will not be disappointed.

Good Product
I use the prodcut for everyday use and love it. Its great for crisp fall days. Good comfort level and style and I never seem to leave home without it. I like the halfzip and the fit of the product - not baggy at all. Longer lenght keeps the wind out when you bend over. Good overall product and a staple.

Best fleece pullover I've ever had
This is an awesome product. Every so often, one buys an item and when it begins to wear out, you wonder why you didn't buy more than one. This is one of those items. It's comfortable and durable and very useful, both as a layer under other clothing, and over a T-shirt for a chilly evening or early morning. Buy two, you won't regret it.

Solid layering sweater and great service from Altrec
Bought this for my son's summer Outward Bound trip. This will be his primary insulation for a 8 day backpacking trip at 6,000 feet. Quality and fit is very good, as you would expect from Patagonia
