Excellent for sailing and relaxing around town, Patagonia's versatile Patrol Shoe features a folding heel so you can wear it like a sneaker or a slide. Patagonia applied the same earth-friendly manufacturing processes used on their recycled fleece outerwear to their shoes, adding at least 15% recycled materials in the compression molded EVA midsole and 20% recycled rubber in the outsole. Patagonia also used natural hemp laces in the Patrol. Hemp is environmentally smart because it has a short growing cycle, requires little water or pesticides, and resists molds and bacteria in a variety of conditions. You'll also find hemp as a substrate in the soles for texture. Whether you're out for the day or you just need a pair of shoes to slip on while trotting out to get the mail, Patagonia's Patrol Shoe is a fun design that you can feel good about wearing. Great Shoe - Good for the Environment
Very comfortable and good looking shoe. I especially like the fact that it was made with recycled materials so you feel environmentally friendly, as well.

Comfortable, convenient, well made shoe
I held off reviewing until I wore these all day. Very comfortable lightweight shoe, even after a long day. My foot is a little wide at the toe, but my arch is low, so the laces let me adjust them properly. Lined nicely for wearing without socks, too. After taking them off inside the house mid day, I used the flip down heel feature to slide them back on, thinking I'd re-tie them later, but I never did - they were just as comfortable with the open back and stayed on well. Even with the open back, the laces make sense because you can adjust them to your own arch. Should be able to fit a wide range of sizes. They are good looking, too. Should be a great travel shoe.

Great Shoe
Great fit. Extremely comfortable and looks great. Plus, it is made out of recycled materials so you feel very "green". I have wide feet but sizing is definitely not an issue.

Cool Shoes!
I'm sure I'm the only one on my whole street with a pair of these! They are quite comfortable and stylish! I love the fact that they are made from hemp and recycled materials. I just might buy them in another color...
