another summer favorite
Although my husband only had time to wear this bright red and white shirt once since the weather was cooling already when I got it, this is the third Pataloha I've bought him over the years. And, once again, this gift was a hit. Unlike other light summer shirts, these don't ever seem to look worn or tired--although the colors get a bit muted over the years. So you can amortize the rather high cost over a number of years. And the designs are truly distinctive. Also unlike many other island-design shirts with a casual fit, they seem cut for a trim build. Cool and loose (but not baggy), these are the first shirts he would reach for on most summer days. The only drawback is that the fine cotton requires light ironing (0ne quick pass, and they look great). But they look terrific with jeans or dressier slacks and are perfect for evenings out. I opted for the extra large this time, because the large was not available and some of his other Patagonia size large shirts have become a bit snug (he is 6'1" and weighs 185), and he finds the fit very comfortable. But the shirt is generously cut, and I think the large would have been a perfect fit.

Doesn't lack this in summer
This short-sleeved shirt is made of 100% organic cotton coconut cloth. It is very comfortable in smooth touch. The design which is inspired by native Hawaiian is excellent and it makes feel so good.

best relaxing hawaiian shirt
I have been a big fan of this shirt for a long time. I sometimes look for special edition, but in general all the shirts are great in design and comfort. I start to wear the shirt in summer. but I found it looks good on long sleeve shirt. So I wear now longer than before. Therefore I need more addition. I cannot think of any other nice shirts in summer other than Pataloha shirts.

Great Shirt
I am a huge Patagonia fan, this is my first Pataloha style shirt. I absolutely love the way it looks and fits. It is an expensive shirt, but well built and will last and wear it forever.

Have been buying Pataloha shirts from Patagonia since 1987. Always good stuff!
