When missing the sunset curfew means climbing through spindrift rivers into the night, the Patagonia Men's Nano Puff Hoody shines. It's weather-resistant enough to wear as an insulated jacket in a wet snowstorm, trim enough to pull on for chilly rock pitches (and still see your footholds), and warm enough for light belay parka duty on quick alpine dashes - or for climbing through the night when the dash isn't so quick. The elasticized hood opening snugs over low-volume helmets or under any helmet, adding thermostat-like warmth. The wind-blocking, moisture-shedding 100% recycled polyester shell glides effortlessly in your layering system, and low-bulk, hydrophobic, highly compressible PrimaLoft One (60-g) traps heat with remarkable efficiency - even when wet. It packs down to practically nothing and stuffs into an internal zippered chest pocket that has a carabiner clip-in loop. It also has two zippered handwarmer pockets, elasticized cuffs and a dual-adjust drawcord hem to seal out wind and seal in warmth. Recyclable through the Common Threads Recycling Program.

Great Jacket
We have had a cold spring and summer in the NW. This jacket is very light and warm. Good fit for a tall guy. I bought this jacket for an Alaska drift trip in the fall, I'll find out about the durability them.
Versatile, yep very versatile
The Nano Puff is a warm jacket, sweatshirt, wind breaker, light rain jacket and a piece of mind. I have been using it in temperatures from 20 - 50 degrees. At 20 I am comfortable with just a t-shirt underneath, which is the same for 50. I have found the Nano Puff to be very breathable and possibly why it would be comfortable across a wide range of temperatures. This is an active person's jacket. If you have a higher metabolism due to regular exercise than you will have the same experience as me. It fits true to size and I almost never zip it all the way up unless I am cold. The jacket seals tight against your chin when fully zipped, especially when the hood is up. This is great because it helps trap more heat in when you need it. Otherwise it is more comfortable to leave it unzipped a bit. It performs great in high winds and sheds enough water for short bursts of light rain. The Nano Puff Hoody is a piece of mind because it compacts very small and is light weight. Something you can always bring with you. When your new jacket arrives and you hold it in your hands you will doubt everything said here. It is very thin, light and hard to believe it works at first sight. Resist those thoughts and try it!
Perfect insulated layer for alpine climbing
I bought this jacket as an insulated layer to wear beneath a shell jacket. I have taken it out into the backcountry once and it performed perfectly. It is relatively thin, but really quite warm considering the weight of the fill material. It folds and zips into an interior chest pocket that can be clipped to a biner or tossed into the backpack. The fit is true-to-size and it is really soft and comfortable. The hood fits nice and snug, so that wind doesn't get to your head too much. It's definitely not a thick, heavy insulated coat, but a great layer to incorporate into a warmth system for alpine environments.
Patagonia nano
A warm, yet lightweight coat. Great for those days when the temperature is in the 40's in Florida.
3 season jacket
Ultra lightweight. Very soft and comfortable. Can be worn easily under a hardshell or by itself. Fog is light light gray with a striking purple color inside. I am 5'11' and the large was a good length (hits at hip) and sleeves are long enough (hurray). Washes and dries easily. Packs into itself. Wish they offered more colors. Feminine fit and I like the diamond stitching. Overall an awesome stylish and useful jacket!!
