The peripatetic climbers and skiers of the world count good high-loft insulation right alongside chili-mac and a working heater as road-trip essentials. The Patagonia Micro Puff Jacket for Men is built with a tough, windproof and DWR (durable water repellent) polyester shell (1.5-oz 32-denier; lining is 1.4-oz 22-denier) that houses 100-g PrimaLoft One, a truly warm-when-wet, highly compressible synthetic insulation that's quilted so it won't clump, separate or drift. The shell and lining are made with 100% all-recycled polyester. Other features: articulated elbows, a full-length front zip with a DWR finish, two zippered handwarmer pockets, one zippered security pocket, an internal drop-in pocket, a drawcord hem and stuff sack.

Great jacket, It's windproof, real warm by itself with a light baselayer under(like Rab PS ZIP). But It's not very packable? This jacket runs large, especially compared to other brands. I usually wear L (5'8", 187 lbs), But this time,i was swimming in the large and it was hard to cram into a shell.
GOOD OVERALL JACKET
Great jacket w/o all the bulk of a down coat. Unbelievably warm for as light and thin as it is. The fit of the jacket is relaxed with plenty of mobility throughout the arms and torso and is very comfortable to wear in the car. The cut of the coat seems to be designed for layering which seems to offer the best performance for mid-winter days. No problems w durability as of yet and I believe w proper care, I can get quite a few seasons out of this jacket. Overall, I am very pleased.
Great jacket
The Nano is incrdibly lightweight, you hardly notice you have it on. It is a great shell that stops the wind in its tracks. It Looks great and even though it is a pullover slides on and off easily. I have been wearing it as another winter jacket.
Great jacket
I bought this jacket for a February trip to Paris. The weather was as expected, damp and cold, but not below freezing. The micro puff was the perfect weight for this weather. I was warm enough without the bulk of a heavier jacket. I did add a Marmot Precip shell on top when it was raining/drizzling/???, since I needed a hood and a little extra wind resistance. The fit: I'm short and chunky (5'6", 190), and the large was perfect. Roomy enough for a sweater underneath, but also comfortable with just a shirt.
Great jacket!
This Patagonia jacket works well by itself or as a layer on especially cold days. It fits my larger frame quite nicely, and I prefer the lower profile that the micro puff's insulation provides. The only potential issue is that I am already seeing some wear on the sleeve's shell after minimal wear.
