Don't let a cold, saturated storm system keep you from getting the goods. The balmy, waterproof Men's Insulated Snowshot Jacket from Patagonia combines compressible insulation with a durable shell to match the energy level of parks and freeride descents. It has a 2-layer, 100% polyester shell with a waterproof/breathable H2Nobarrier and a Deluge DWR (durable water repellent) finish so you can stay out when the weather closes in. Insulated with lightweight yet ultrawarm Thermogreen polyester (90% recycled), the Insulated Snowshot stays warm when wet and feels wickedly soft; we quilt the insulation in place to eliminate shifting. A soft internal lining wicks moisture and glides smoothly over layers. The rest of the story includes a removable hood that accommodates a helmet, articulated sleeves with pit zips for venting heat, a fleece neck gasket and chamois-lined collar for spindrift, and an adjustable powder skirt (with webbing loops that connect to any Patagonia Ski/Snowboard pants). Handwarmer pockets hold your lunch money; a chest pocket stores your music player; zippered stash and drop in pocket inside. Recyclable through the Common Threads Recycling Program.

Great Jacket
Awesome Warmth and Water Proofing...Only Complaint is maybe a bit big...all other jackets I wear a large and this large is a bit large considering you wont need a lot of layering
Usual Patagonia Quality
5' 11', 180 lb.- Medium fit great. Especially like the mp3/phone/wallet pocket location, you don't have to unzip the jacket to access; it is tucked under the zipper flap. Bought the green and get many compliments.
Ex-Ski Guide, Professional Skier
My first new ski jacket in 20 years and thats because the last jacket I skied in was a Patagonia Guide jacket and their products hardly wear out. I love this jacket ! Skied in temps ranging from 0 degrees to 35 degrees and was always warm and comfortable. It's quite easy to dress for the day on the mountain with this jacket. My first layer is a Patagonia light weight capilene top, then I'll wear a light wt fleece top if its 0-25 degrees. If the temps 25 degrees or higher I'll wear a zip neck over the base layer. Then I'm set for the variable of temps here in the Cascades. I like the Ipod pocket and headphone cord routing thru the back of the pocket . The tall collar is great on those windy days, the hood fits well and is easy to adjust. Gave it a waterproof rating as I skied in the rain one day and never got wet but it wasn't a savage rain storm. The pit zips are nice when you have to do some hoofing to get to the untracked powder. The jacket is typical of all Patagonia products in that they are well thought out in the designing process. I am very happy with this product, it's an Awesome Jacket !!!
